Landscapes wine of Piedmont: Langhe-Roero and Monferrato become Unesco World Heritage Site

Vineyard Landscape of Piedmont: Langhe-Roero and Monferrato covers five distinct wine-growing areas with outstanding landscapes and the Castle of Cavour, an emblematic name both in the development of vineyards and in Italian history. It is located in the southern part of Piedmont, between the Po River and the Ligurian Appenines, and encompasses the whole range of technical and economic processes relating to the winegrowing and wine making that has characterized the region for centuries. Vine pollen has been found in the area dating from the 5th century BC, when Piedmont was a place of contact and trade between the Etruscans and the Celts; Etruscan and Celtic words , particularly wine-related ones, are still found in the local dialect. During the Roman Empire, Pliny the Elder mentions the Piedmont region as being one of the most favourable for growing vines in ancient Italy; Strabo mentions its barrels.

Tinhybrid

We have obtained this capsule by using the best technologies: TINHYBRID® is a polylaminate capsule for still wine and spirits. Material is thicker compared to the standard and represents a good alternative to the deep-drown tin closures.

The perfect cohesion between the materials gives an extraordinary ductility and softness to TINHYBRID® capsules, that allows an easier and more precise application both on standard and special bottles with large diameters.

Coextrusion Plant

ECO” PROCESS
Recently Intercap, first in Italy, was equipped with a co-extrusion coating system facility. Our Polylaminate is achieved through an innovative ecological process, based on the direct coupling between polyethylene and aluminum: in this process the plastic film is directly cast between two sheets of aluminum support, without the use of solvents.

EXTREMELY DUCTILE POLYLAMINATE
The result is a soft and more stable product compared to polylaminate obtained by gluing.
The excellent cohesion between the materials gives Intercap polylaminate an exceptional ductility and softness: the rolling is easier and more precise, and the capsule is adaptable on any type of bottled beverage, wine, champagne, spiritd or large format.
The polylaminate produced by Intercap can be 100% recycled with normal recovery techniques and separation of the metal from the plastic, and then put back on the market.
